The Role - Housekeeping Assistant (28hrs per week)

An energetic worker is required, with a good eye for detail to ensure excellent standards of cleanliness in guest bedrooms, bathrooms and public areas of the hotel. Working 5 days 28 hrs per week. For those wanting additional hours a turndown evening service is also offered (7pm-9pm) which ensures that all guest bedrooms are well presented ready for the guest return in the evening.

Cleaning of guest bedrooms and bathrooms and provision of turndown facility during the late shift.

• Working between 9am and 3pm five days per week (28hrs) Additional evening shifts available from 7pm to 9pm for those wanting additional hours
• Changing bed linen daily in all guest bedrooms
• Cleaning guest bedrooms, bathrooms, corridors and public areas
• Ensuring all corridors are clean and tidy and any dirty linen is returned to the laundry before the end of the shift
• Returning to complete evening housekeeping (Turndown) duties a few evenings per week

Requirements

• Good attention to detail
• Enthusiastic about cleaning and presentation
• Methodical in working routines
• Availability to complete some early evening shifts on a rota basis
• Weekend working is required as part of this role
