We have a vacancy open within the delegate sales department for a delegate sales executive to join us in our client in Kidlington based office
The role is for those looking to further their career in sales willing to successfully improve strong business key. This position comes with full training and mentoring. Basic salary 19500 + commission (minimum £4500+ expected) + bonus scheme.
The Role
- Selling delegate places for pharmaceutical industry conferences
- Learning about the companies and job roles for this industry to ensure you sell to the right people.
- Conducting thorough research to source new leads relevant to each event
- Effectively contact all key prospects by telephone
- Database management
- Ability to manage basic negotiations, handle objections and close sales
- International travel, as required (to attend conferences)
The Candidate
- Good communication skills and confident telephone manner are essential
- Previous sales experience would be highly desirable
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Confident approach in dealing with senior contacts
- Positive, enthusiastic, outgoing and determined to succeed
- Willing to learn and develop.
