Staff Responsibilities:

Job Purpose:
Purchasing of paper and other materials, stock management and stock control through Navision. Providing prices for Estimating and obtain special making prices and timings.
Main Responsibilities:
- To purchase all paper and envelopes for the Dagenham site, ensuring best quality and price.
- To follow company procedures for auditing ensuring all products have Purchase Orders and suppliers are aware of our policies.
- Check job ticket prior to ordering to ensure the correct size and possible saving.
- Ensure good liaison with Client Services and Planning to ensure stock availability, keeping warehouse volumes as low as feasibly possible.
- Manage all in-house stock ensuring that this is used rather than purchased.
- Implement and maintain client specific paper rates and profiles within Navision - including any rebates. Create and maintain a process for keeping these up to date.
- Orchestrate Sales / Supplier visits 'by appointment' only with paper buyer.
- Keep sample area up to date and ensure this is kept orderly.
- Always act with honesty and integrity.
- Follow the company Health & Safety policies.
- Attend and assist with any training needs the company may request.
