We are looking for an enthusiastic and confident In-House Recruitment Consultant in the Bedford to join our Award Winning, care and companionship service for older people in and around the area.

This job is a commutable distance from Bedford (20mins/6.8miles), Milton Keynes centre (17mins/17.5 miles), Clapham (17mins/7.5miles), Millbrook (13mins/6.5 miles) areas of Bedfordshire and Buckinghamshire. 

£20,000 - £22,000 per annum depending on previous experience plus 45p per mile mileage allowance. Full-time hours.

You would: -

  • Manage all aspects of recruitment; coming up with innovative ideas for recruitment drives.
  • Interview and assess all potential candidates in line with their assessment criteria; 
  • Perform all relevant checks -  ID, references etc;
  • Maintain and update all databases and candidate files;
  • Achieve targeted figures;
  • Orchestrate effective networking recruitment events.

What skills and experience are required?
You will have good experience and knowledge of recruitment practices as well as being competent working with social media and networking. 
Previous experience as a Recruitment Consultant, In-House Recruiter or HR would be advantageous.
You should have excellent communication skills and above all, you will be a warm, proactive and creative individual who strives to exceed individual targets.
