We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Works Operative to join our Widnes team. Reporting to the Warehouse Shift Manager Nights,
the successful candidate will safely and accurately load, unload, pick and store goods and PI count.

Shift Pattern Sunday to Thursday 9:30pm – 6:00am

Key Responsibilities:

+ To ensure that MHE is properly presented and operated
+ To ensure that the correct goods are received, stored and dispatched in good condition
+ To ensure the correct completion of documentation
+ Be compliant to all policies, procedures and legislative requirements

Key Tasks:

+ To ensure the correct receipt and dispatch of goods
+ To ensure the correct picking of customer orders
+ To inspect returned stock for external appearance, date of manufacture and evidence of internal contamination – in accordance with company procedures
+ To load and unload outgoing and incoming vehicles safely
and accurately
+ Cooperate on all matters concerned with health, safety, training, legislation and the environment
+ To work with various hazardous chemicals

The successful candidate will have good communication skills, excellent attention to detail and be able to work without supervision when required in a time critical environment. It is desirable that the successful candidate also holds FLT license for Counter Balance. The successful candidate will have an ambition to develop and progress within the company.
