Cleaner / Factory Operative

Cleaner / Factory Operative - £7.70 per hour – Attleborough Norfolk – Full or Part Time Permanent.

Our client is a leading UK manufacturer of office furniture. Established since 1974, they are a family Company who pride themselves on their quality of product and commitment to client service.  

Role responsibilities

They are currently seeking a conscientious and enthusiastic person to do a dual role of Factory Operative and Cleaner. In the cleaning role, you will be cleaning on site, which will include; vacuuming and dusting offices and general areas, cleaning washrooms, mopping floors and waste disposal.  In the factory operative role, you will work with hand and automated tools in the inspection, assembly and packaging of office furniture.

Role requirements

They are looking for someone who is a team player, adheres to health and safety procedures, has good hygiene and cleaning standards, a can-do attitude and experience of working in a cleaning or manufacturing environment. 

Hours of work

The hours of work for the cleaning post averages 14 hours per week over the full year, the remainder of the time will be spent in Assembly.   

The total hours of work are 40 per week; when cleaning the hours are 7.00am to 3.30pm and on assembly the hours are 8.00am to 4.30pm. 

Location

This permanent position is based in their factory just outside of Attleborough, Norfolk (NR17 1QD).
