How will you add value?

You will lead a team of junior & senior analysts, helping them understand areas for development, coaching and mentoring them to help them fulfil their ambitions. You will champion the value of analysis and educate members of the wider ecommerce division. Your role will involve working with stakeholders across the business to support sales teams in achieving their targets, supplying key information for commercial discussions and undertaking strategic reviews to help achieve a variety of financial goals. In addition to the lead responsibilities, you will interpret outputs to provide client and market insights whilst communicating these to all levels of stakeholders, both internal and external.

What will make you the ideal candidate?

You will be highly numerate, probably with a degree in a relevant subject area such as Mathematics. You will bring excellent SQL coding skills for analysing data and using SQL querying tools in large relational databases. With this in mind we need you to have a proven track record of applying analytical skills to a variety of business problems delivering quantified benefits to the business as a result. You will be able to look beyond numbers to identify trends and drivers, converting complex data into insight and you will be able to articulate results clearly and concisely to senior stakeholders through your excellent presentation and communication skills. By having a consultative manner you will help non-technical business managers and sales understand the commercial implications of business trends. Having previous experience in mentoring and coaching junior analysts in analytical techniques and data interpretation will make you a great addition to our team.
