General Sales Manager to drive forward a B2C sales operation.

Your new company
You will be the joining the retail arm of a larger group, that supply and install premium products across Lincolnshire and the wider East Midlands into residential homes. They have a reputable name in the local market place and having undergone a variety of operational changes lately, to improve their operational efficiency and customer satisfaction rates they are now focussing on their commercial areas and are looking to appoint a professional General Sales Manager who will drive further growth in an ethical manner.

Your new role
As General Sales Manager, you will manage this well-established business with a core team of stable staff across their Internal and External Sales teams and look to improve what they do and how they do it. The business is financially secure with a good order book but there are significant opportunities available to further grow this business; you will be tasked with professionalising the sales business and achieving this growth through the existing sales team. Then taking responsibility for the ongoing recruitment, induction, training and development of further sales team members.

What you'll need to succeed
We are looking for a professional and reputable General Sales Manager who has the experience of developing teams to achieve results. You must have the experience of managing and developing outbound, cold calling telesales teams as well as devising strategies to recruit and retain these staff.

What you'll get in return
You will be on the senior management team for the group and will be reporting directly into the business owner, with the autonomy to make your own decisions to manage and grow this sales business. The business is profitable and a successful General Sales Manager will be on a base salary in the region of £35,000 with the ability to earn around £50,000 in the first year; this should not pose a barrier to someone with the required skills and the package can be negotiable for the right applicant.
