LOCATION: Dunstable
JOB TITLE: Part Time Driver which involves light warehouse duties
SALARY & BENEFITS: GBP75 per day, GBP225 per week, 4 weeks holiday per year plus relevant bank holidays and a company mobile phone
WORKING HOURS: 3 days a week: Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday
THE COMPANY: Our client is a small business, operating for nearly 15 years, buying and selling used office equipment, business to business. They are looking for a Part Time Driver to work within their small warehouse near Dunstable.
THE ROLE: For the role of the Part Time Driver you will collect and deliver used photocopiers, having tested and prepared the equipment, to ensure customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities for the Part Time Driver role to include:-
• Test and prepare (including cleaning) used photocopiers to a high trade standard.
• Loading and unloading photocopiers from vans and lorries.
• Making collections and deliveries, throughout the UK - occasional overnight stays away from home may be necessary.
• Ensure good customer relations and collect payments, as directed.
THE CANDIDATE: For the role of Part Time Driver you will be a reliable and friendly with good customer service skills. You will be able to work on your own initiative and care about your work and want to provide a good service. You will need to live within a commutable distance to Dunstable.
Key experience essential for the role of Part Time Driver:-
• Be flexible in your approach to work and times
• Have a good driving record
• Experience of working as a driver (3+ years) and be aged 21 years or older (for insurance purposes)
• Be physically able to remain standing or driving all day (with reasonable breaks)
• A 7.5 Tonne driving experience or HGV Licence, this would be an advantage.
