A great opportunity has arisen for a Marketing and Communications Manager to cover maternity leave, within a small team based in central London.

Key Responsibilities will include:

Develop and lead on marketing activities to ensure alignment to the organisation s values, mission, and goals.
Manage the charity s part-time marketing assistant, with support from the Director.
Use strategic marketing knowledge and experience to support the development of the operational strategy and support the organisations growth strategy.
Manage the marketing budget of circa 20k.
Oversee the appropriate use of the charity s brand identity (image, tone of voice, core messages, etc).
Use knowledge of modern digital marketing techniques including PPC, paid social media, analytics, user testing and SEO to increase digital campaign reach and successes.
Use strong analytical skills to generate insights that transform campaigns.
Manage agencies and freelancers to deliver high quality creative work that is relevant and compelling to our audiences, supported by the marketing assistant and charity Director.
Deliver marketing KPIs in line with our charitable objectives, financial targets and the charity s growth strategy.
Assist in collating marketing KPI reports for monthly team and quarterly Trustee reports, with the support of the marketing assistant.
Build relationships with volunteers and beneficiaries to build the charity s bank of real-life stories.
Manage the charity website, ensuring it remains accurate and engaging and performs in line with KPI s.
Support with press requests to gain maximum exposure for the charity.

In order to apply you should have the following skills and experience:

Professional experience as a Marketing Manager or Senior Marketing Executive (preferably in the charity sector)
Proven experience in strategic marketing development
Experience with KPI development, performance metrics and data analysis
Experience of CRM systems
Knowledge and awareness of GDPR
Intermediate Excel skills; eg: pivot tables, formulas and data manipulation
Intermediate skills in Adobe creative suite, Google Analytics, CMS systems, social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Hootsuite), MailChimp
Experience running successful digital media campaigns, and a broad understanding of the benefits of diverse social media channels
Experience in copy writing, graphic design and video production
Experience with web content management platforms, an understanding of SEO and website metrics
Effectively managing a marketing budget and delivering projects within cost allocations.
A supportive team player.
Flexibility - ability/willingness to travel (UK only) and work occasionally irregular hours
Proactive, energetic and positive outlook, demonstrating a solutions-focussed approach to problem solving.
Strong organisational skills and an ability to work with a high level of autonomy
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; you listen to others and communicate effectively.
