Newly or Part Qualified Accountant

£30,000 - £35,000 per annum depending on qualification and experience

Full time – 37 hours per week

Opportunity based in Bromley, Kent

A unique opportunity has arisen for a Newly or Part Qualified Accountant within a fast-paced general Accountancy Practice based in Bromley.

The main purpose of this position is to support the Practice’s clients with all financial aspects of their business, including but not limited to bookkeeping using SAGE or Xero, payroll, CIS returns, VAT and personal tax queries.

You will also be confident in assessing and advising the Practice’s smaller clients on their choice of accounts format in terms of FRS105 or FRS102 (1a).

You will also be given the opportunity to assist the Practice in achieving their strategic goals and contribute to the overall, ongoing development of the Practice.

The ideal candidate will have:

• Proven experience within a similar role with ACA/ACCA qualification is essential

• Exceptional customer service skills.

• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.

• Highly organised with the ability to multi task and work on own initiative.

• Car owner advantageous but not essential.

You will also be familiar with IRIS/Xero, auto enrolment requirements, self-assessment process and completion and basic remuneration strategies.

The office hours are 9:00am - 5:30pm Monday to Thursday and 9:00am – 5:00pm on Fridays. Benefits include 20 days’ holiday per year, company pension scheme, training opportunities (including in-house and webinars) and regular company events.
