Production Technician

Job Title: Production Technician
Location: Abingdon
Pay: £8 - £9 Per Hour
Contact: Temporary (2 Months)

A well established client who is a forwarding thinking engineering company and a specialist in there industry are looking for Production Technicians to join their team delivering to a very important project for initially 2 months. The role will be working Monday to Friday 07:00 - 15:00 or 15:00 - 23:00 and looking for technically minded or experienced production assemblers who enjoy working as part of a team.

You will be responsible for fulfilling sub-assembly work orders using manual and semi-automated presses, performing quality control tests to ensure material conformity and maintaining accurate records whilst also, responsible for actively meeting weekly manufacturing targets to supply both internal and external customer requirements.

The ideal candidate will have:

Experience of hand assembly, Capable of fine assembly tasks in a production environment
Experience of working in a regulated quality control environment following the Company's Health and Safety policies
Meticulous attention to detail and able to follow written instruction and recording activities
The ability to work well in a small team without close supervision
Working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
Maintenance of a tidy, safe and efficient work environment

It is essential that you have excellent written and verbal communication skills as you will be documenting records of each build and liaising with internal team regarding materials. This role would be ideal for someone looking for a new challenge within manufacturing or looking to build you assembly experience.
