The Role:
- Co-ordination of external transaction and legal professionals to drive transactions to a close, including the establishment of ownership structure and all documentation.
- Review, markup and negotiation (with investment team) of acquisition, finance and structure and joint venture documentation.
- Legal and transaction support to asset management and investment teams on restructuring and refinancing of investments, as well as exits.
- New business support, including new overseas operations.
- Ad hoc support to Managing Partner and New Business team in establishing new fund structures.
Our client is seeking a candidate that is able to demonstrate passion, perseverance and the ability to work in a diverse and highly collegiate environment. In addition to this, the following expertise is required:
- At least two years' PQE, preferably within a leading UK or US firm.
- An in-depth understanding/experience in real estate transactions and property finance, ideally both in the UK and overseas.
- Ability to work autonomously and manage a changing workload.
- Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
- Willingness and ability to travel if required.
