NPD Department Administrator
Contract Type: Permanent
Salary: £20K per annum.
·Liaise with customers, suppliers and the commercial team across the company.
·Input data into in-house ERP system, including Bills of Material and material costs.
·Develop product barcode labels and manage the customer approval process.
·Assist in the co-ordination of technical feasibility and manufacturing trial runs. Complete any customer trial report paper work.
·Create purchase orders for trial components and raw materials.
·Coordinate new product origination costs. Supply data to the Sales team for customer review.
·Provide general administrative support for the New Product Development Department.
What the company is looking for in the successful candidate:
·Good standard of general education including G.C.S.E. Mathematics and English, grades A*-C (or equivalent).
·Proficient in use of Microsoft Office software.
·Understanding of supply chain and associated lead times.
·Experience of liaising in-house and externally with people at all levels.
·Knowledge of an ERP / MRP systems, in particular with reference to creating component and raw material codes and Bills of Materials.
·Experience of data handling
