We are the largest landlord group in the North East, owning and managing almost 34,000 homes in an area spanning North Tyneside to York, with the majority of properties in the Tees Valley. We have plans to build at least 2,000 new homes over the next five years, as well as investing over £100m in improving the homes we manage. By doing this, we will make a major contribution to the regeneration of the Tees Valley to support the local economy.

As part of our drive to continue to improve service to our customers, we are positioning neighbourhoods firmly at the heart of our business, and aiming to deliver even more focussed services at a local level. To achieve this we are recruiting to a new role: Neighbourhood Support who will provide support to our Neighbourhood teams ensuring the best possible experience for people living in a Thirteen home.

We are seeking an individual who shares our values and is committed to delivering a fantastic customer experience. As a Neighbourhood Support you will provide a “first response team” approach to ensure that services are delivered to maximum customer satisfaction. You will support a team of Neighbourhood Co-ordinators, ensuring that homes and neighbourhoods are well maintained. You will also assist the Neighbourhood team in carrying out administrative duties including data input and preparation of court documentation as well as maintaining an effective office environment.
The successful candidate will be required to be educated to GCSE standard (A-C) and / or be able to show demonstrable experience within the field, including a high level of IT and other media experience. A full UK driving license with the ability to travel across the region as required if also essential.
The candidate must have excellent organisational skills and have good attention to detail.
The right person will be a good communicator both verbal and written, able to interpret information, problem solve and make decisions on a day to day basis. The candidate will always delivering excellent customer service to all customers, responding to the needs of our most vulnerable customers.
