Carer's Assessment and Support Organiser

Our client is a charitable organisation that represents the interests of people with learning disabilities, their families and carers within the London Borough of Croydon. Due to continued success, our client is currently looking for Carer’s Assessment and Support Organiser.

Salary: - £25,369 p.a.

Benefits: Full training provided.

Hours: - 37.5hrs per week.

Location: - Thornton Heath Pond, Croydon.

A carer’s assessment is for adult carers of adults who are disabled, ill or elderly.

Our client’s service specialises in assessing the needs of carers of adults that have a learning disability. As an assessor you will meet with carers to see how caring affects their life and what support they need to carry on caring.

You will also organise a range of social and other events that bring carers together to help reduce isolation, support positive mental health and promote mutual support. You will work alongside a colleague that also specialises in supporting carers.

You will be provided with training and ongoing support to enable you to undertake this work.
