Currently based in Chinnor, Oxfordshire but moving to the Oxford Science Park, Oxford in 2018

Join this tech company as an experienced API Engineer and you'll lead a small team focussed on interfacing, integration and SaaS in the areas of security, performance, analytics and maintenance.
You will be responsible for the evaluation of existing C++ APIs and creating a WEBAPI layer using industry best practices - architecting, implementing and maintaining the services for the platform. This journey may involve short term as well as long term strategies.
Ideally, you'll have:
- Complete understanding of internet technologies and web services
- Extensive work experience on REST, SOAP
- Demonstrable expertise in integrating disparate systems using EAI patterns
- Agile development - SCRUM/XP
- In-depth knowledge of C++
- Messaging/Interfacing patterns & tools - EAI, RabbitMQ Cloud deployment and architecture
- Proactive, team player passionate about our technology
You must be eligibility to live and work in the UK
Knowledge of one or more of the following would be great but are certainly not a deal breaker:
Computer Vision domain
Big Data experience
