TEACHING ASSISTANT
This is an exciting opportunity to join Ratton School (part of the South Downs Learning Trust) in a role dedicated to helping students develop their full potential. If you are adept at establishing positive relationships and have high expectations of yourself and others we would love to hear from you.
Previous knowledge or interest/experience in working with children would be particularly useful, although most experience is gained on the job. The successful applicant must enjoy the challenges and demands of working with young people, aged 11 to 16, but will be well supported by a large, busy and friendly team.
This position is term time only for 35.5 hours per week (8.30am- 4.30pm Mondays and 8.30am-4pm Tuesday to Fridays with a 30- minute unpaid break daily). Fixed-term to July 2019 in the first instance. Pay will be on LPS SS Grade 3, Points 5-7, starting on GBP15,377 (pro-rata as term-time only, pay award pending).
