Field Service Engineer

LOCATION: Field based all over the UK but working out of Market Harborough, Leicestershire
SALARY & BENEFITS: Competitive salary + overtime available
WORKING HOURS: Must be flexible as per business needs but core hours will be Monday - Friday 8:30am - 5pm
THE COMPANY: Our client based in Market Harborough and established in 1986, supplies and services a range of machines for Industrial and Municipal Cleaning as well as comprehensive range of Ground care Equipment, including Kubota, Stiga and Mountfield.
THE ROLE: Due to business growth, our client now requires a Mobile Field Service Engineer capable of servicing and repairing machinery on customer sites.
Key responsibilities for the Mobile Field Service Engineer position:
THE CANDIDATE: The role of the Mobile Field Service Engineer is customer facing so the applicant must be presentable at all times and be capable of working on own initiative, with good communication skills.

- Attending customer sites and servicing machinery
- Carrying out necessary repairs to equipment
- Working on your own initiative to diagnose issues
- Providing excellent customer service
THE CANDIDATE: The role of the Mobile Field Service Engineer is customer facing so the applicant must be presentable at all times and be capable of working on own initiative, with good communication skills.
Key experience essential for the role of the Mobile Field Service Engineer:
- Will live within a commutable distance of Market Harborough, Leicestershire
- Must have previous experience in a similar role or environment
- Will hold a full clean driving licence (will accept minor points)
- Must have a good understanding of petrol and diesel engines.
- To have demonstrable excellent automotive diagnostics and repair abilities.
- Experience of battery/electric driving systems and/or ground care equipment would be an advantage.
