JOB TITLE: Graduate Assistant (Learning Support)
SALARY & BENEFITS: GBP14,166 pro rota per annum (GBP17,000 full time equivalent)
10 Month Contract to start in August 2018
WORKING HOURS: Occasional out of hours and weekends required plus some flexibility.
THE COMPANY: Our client is a large Independent Boys' School, situated in 286 acres of parkland in Northwood, Middlesex. They have an exciting opportunity available for a Graduate Assistant (Learning Support) to join their team.
THE ROLE: As a Graduate Assistant (Learning Support), you will provide support to teachers and pupils both within the classroom as well as in various extra-curricular settings.

- Assist in the educational and social development of pupils under the direction and guidance of the Head Master, Head of Learning Support and Class Teachers
- Assist in the implementation and monitoring of support programmes
- Provide support for specific pupils inside and outside the classroom to enable them to fully access the curriculum and participate in activities through developing independence and self confidence
- Support pupils with emotional or behavioural problems and help develop their social skills
