We are developing Orchard Vale Trust's services and recruiting for a Community Outreach Worker to deliver a community support programme consistent with the ethos, policies and objectives of Orchard Vale Trust.

You will work closely with the CEO to develop a community support strategy and be responsible for ensuring the delivery of a cohesive, resourced and quality community outreach programme that provides information and support in accessing available services to individuals with learning difficulties and their families.

We are looking for a positive and motivated person who has excellent communication, planning, self-management and organisational skills.

Critical to your success will be a genuine passion for making a difference to the lives of people with learning disabilities and you will need the ability to directly relate to people with learning disabilities.

Previous experience in a health, social care, or people focused setting is essential.

You will have a QCF Level 5 (or equivalent) in Management or willing to work towards this qualification within the first 12 months of service.
