Currently based in Chinnor, Oxfordshire but moving to the Oxford Science Park, Oxford in Summer 2018
This company are looking for a seriously talented User Interface (UI/UX) Engineer to grow a new team focussing on front-end - security, performance, analytics and maintenance.
You'll need to hit the ground running as you'll be responsible for conceiving, architecting, implementing and maintaining a browser-based UI for the company platform that will include UI and UX modules and patterns, performance optimisations and WEB API end-points.
Collaborating with Product, Research and (potential customers) you will have the opportunity to define and implement solutions to complex User Interface design problems.
Ideally with a background in gaming, animation or modeling (although certainly not essential), you'll have extensive experience of using Javascript along with the following;
- Strong background of UI/UX - patterns, workflows, personas, usability
- Proficient in ReactJS or AngularJS
- Demonstrable experience in UI Architecture, distributed deployment in the cloud
- Agile development - SCRUM/XP
- Leadership skills combined with good presentation skills
- Proactive, team player, passionate about our technology
- Eligibility to live and work in the UK
Knowledge of one or more of the following would be great but are certainly not a deal breaker:
- Visual Design
- Mobile Apps - iOS/Android
- Computer Vision domain
- Big Data experience
- C++/Java/API management
