Apprentice - Business Administration (Level 2)

Location: Technology Centre, College Way, Exeter

Salary: £8,681 per annum

Hours: 37 hours per week (including one day a week attending college during term time)

Contract: Fixed Term for duration of Apprenticeship

We are currently looking to recruit an apprentice Receptionist / Administration Assistant in the Faculty of Engineering, Automotive and Aerospace based at our Technology centre at Monkerton, Exeter. The centre hosts state of the art facilities; it is within a short walking distance of Honiton Road Park and Ride and is also accessible via public transport.

This is an exciting opportunity for anyone wishing to broaden their experience in a dynamic and friendly work environment, whilst also learning and gaining a qualification at the same time.

The role will give you the opportunity to develop your customer service and reception skills, as well as general administrative skills. You will have the opportunity to learn from experienced colleagues each day. A day could include answering phones, dealing with queries, meeting and greeting visitors, taking messages, diary management and keeping all information and data up to date. You will also be involved in a range of administrative tasks such as filing, dealing with the post, data entry, photocopying and scanning. You will gain experience of using Microsoft applications and general office administration.
