Our national Planning practice is widely regarded as one of the best in the UK. Rated by Chambers as a national leading practice for Planning, and with our Bristol office noted as having an "Exceptional regional [planning] practice" ranked 1 in the South West, the team operates as part of a nationwide specialist practice (ranked as only one of 3 firms in Band 1 for National Leaders outside of London in Planning) that offers our clients the best support to enable them to unlock development potential and deliver infrastructure. Our clients include commercial developers in the energy, residential, transport, waste, manufacturing and retail sectors as well as many local authorities. We are now looking to recruit further lawyers as we expand the team. Our national team of over 20 fee earners offers clients a full-spectrum of expertise and handles a range of complex mandates in the residential, commercial and infrastructure and environmental and waste sectors, as well as contentious work in Judicial Review and Lands Chamber proceedings. Specialising in large DCO and CPO projects and major commercial and residential schemes, the work would include advising on development consent orders, providing compulsory acquisition and strategic planning advice, reviewing environmental statements, assisting with project management and supporting our national real estate practice. The roles offer an unrivalled opportunity to work on a wide range of premium level planning work outside of the City and is pivotal to supporting the team's continued success. Due to the size of our team and the variety and complexity of the work we need to resource, successful candidates will already have some track record in assisting with delivering technical and strategic planning advice, experience of advising on large scale DCO projects, and excellent client service skills from solicitors to more experienced practitioners. We have seen a significant increase in the work we undertake for major infrastructure providers and would like to hear particularly from those candidates with Nationally Significant Infrastructure Project experience. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates to further their careers in a highly acclaimed practice, within a business with a clear approach to lawyer career development and in a team with demonstrable success in developing lawyers into Managing Associates and beyond. Members of our Planning team are passionate about what they do and we need to find like-minded individuals who have a true interest and commitment in building a career with us and our clients in planning, regeneration and infrastructure, and to help us to deliver our ambitious plans for growth. If that sounds like you then why not get in touch to hear more? NO AGENCY APPLICATIONS PLEASE
