Role: Senior DevOps Engineer (AWS, Ansible, Jenkins)

The ideal candidate will be working alongside a leading finance corporation with an extensive global history, and you will be required to be on site with the end client. You will need to be a good team player and able to lead when asked upon.

This opportunity is for an initial 3 month contract within the retail industry based in London.

The ideal candidate will have endtoend experience with AWS migration projects, with a proven track record in finding simple and sustainable solutions to complex, problematic migration tasks. You will also have experience in various sized projects, displaying leadership qualities in order to communicate and collaborate effectively with your colleagues. The perfect candidate will have worked with a wide range of continuous delivery and DevOps tools.

Experience Required

Experience in delivering release and deployment automation across multiple technologies, and Legacy systems such as Mainframe.
Experience in a stakeholder management with the ability to operate and manage expectations proactively.
Experience in working with wide range of CD/DevOps tools and technologies
CI Jenkins/TeamCity/Bamboo
SCM GITHub/bitbucket/stash
Release Automation Ansible/UDeploy/Puppet/Chef/XL Deploy/Ca RA/CDE/Automic/XL Release
Container solutions Docker/Kubernetes
Cloud Solutions AWS/Azure/Bluemix
Build automation Ant/Maven/Gradle
Experience working with financial organisations.
Experience in programming Java/.Net, Python/JavaScript/Perl


Ability to define, develop, tailor and delivering Continuous Delivery framework.
Ability to perform POCs on the DevOps tools.
Ability to create comprehensive technical documentations.
Ability to conduct structured training for the delivery team on the new capabilities and tools
Stakeholder management skills
Ability to champion, evangelise the CD blueprints and technology standards across the organisation.
