What are we looking for?

PDERS is currently recruiting for two experienced Service Lift Engineers (NVQ3 or equivalent) to cover a portfolio of units across North and North West London; this could include working across Watford, Harrow, Wembley, Hillington, Ealing, Acton, Uxbridge or Hammersmith.

You will be expected to carry out 100% of the maintenance and service visits within your territory and to respond proactively and timely to breakdowns aiming to always achieve first time fix. Using your technical knowledge you will aim to resolve any long standing faults, achieve zero defect insurance items and maintain contractual KPI's through the reduction of breakdowns and carry out minor repairs to achieve continual lift operation. With your excellent communication skills you will liaise directly with the customer whilst on site to build a good working relationship; this could be at one of our major retail accounts, flats, office blocks or social housing units.

You will be qualified to at least NVQ Level 3, J-Module or equivalent and have in-depth knowledge of a variety of different makes and types of equipment, such as dock-levellers, goods and platform lifts, scissor lifts and hydraulics. As a qualified lift engineer, it is essential that you have all-round knowledge of lift equipment and that you can demonstrate that you can apply lift engineering principles to maintenance and fault diagnosis.
