Our client is one of the UK's leading Construction companies. Due to an increase in workload they have a requirement for a LGV Mechanic to carry out Service, Repair and Maintenance of light goods vehicles used on construction projects.
Key Essentials:
* As a LGV Mechanic you will report to the Workshop Manager and your role will involve being responsible for carrying out inspections, routine services, repairs and testing of vehicles in a professional and safe manner
* You should be able to investigate and diagnose faults, report findings and be able to carry out all repairs to the current manufacturers standards
* You will be responsible for planning work, managing diagnostics and ordering parts effectively whilst being able to carry out all repairs to the highest standards and with the most effective use of time
Requirements:
* You should ideally be qualified to City & Guilds level (or equivalent) in Mechanics and/or have relevant experience
* You should have a good knowledge of diagnostic systems used in cars / vans
* You must have previous technical experience and be able to adopt a hands-on approach to all aspects of the role to ensure continued high levels of work are carried out right first time
* This is an excellent position in a rapidly growing company that offers a salary of up to GBP36k + overtime
