Senior Payroll Officer

Working for a charity based in the heart of the historical city of Bath, you will be managing a high quality payroll service, ensuring the effective and efficient functioning of the Direct Payment Services.
Your previous experience of using Sage Payroll and Sage Line 50 will enable you to run the service including managed accounts and payment processing to meet the needs of the client, the contract, HMRC and regulatory bodies
A variety of duties will fulfil your day including setting up new Direct payments Employers, accurate calculation and recording of Student Loans, SSP, SMP and other statutory deductions, preparing payment runs, ensuring salaries of managed accounts are paid on time, and liaising with staff to identify the Employers individual payroll requirements
You should have the ability to work a flexible working pattern to operate monthly payroll on varying days
