Senior Actuarial Calculations Analyst
Bristol
£38000 - £50000 per annum + Benefits
The role will involve manipulating and analysing data and running calculations based on it, so I'm looking for strong technical skills and experience of working with and developing detailed spreadsheets.
In the South West, my client's Calculations Team is seeking a Senior Analyst with 3+ years' experience to work in a team responsible for calculations on behalf of insurers, IFAs and existing pension scheme clients using in-house software.
Working as a senior member of a team which is responsible for manipulating and analysing data and running calculations based on it, you will work closely with the more junior team members to manage whole projects and check their work to ensure calculations are run correctly.
Previous experience in a technical or calculations role is required as is proven experience of working with and developing detailed and well-structured spreadsheets.
Of course, this role also provides excellent study support although if you have ceased taking the actuarial exams but have the relevant experience, I would equally be interested in hearing from you.
