Information Governance Consultant
Manchester
Financial services client is looking to bring in an Information Governance SME with a background in Information Security and Data Protection to work in their internal governance team reporting into the Head of Information Governance.
You will be tasked with helping implement and embedding data related policies and standards to help reduce risk exposure within the business as well as working alongside the GDPR workstream.
This is an initial 12 months contract and the rate is negotiable dependant on the candidate's experience and interview.

Experience needed:
* Experience in Information Security, Data Governance, Data Protection, Data Quality
* Strong Data Collection and Analysis skills
* Experience working with specific data governance/quality/security tool-sets is desired
* Development of Policies, Processes and Standards
* Risk Management practitioner and experience of Risk and Control Self-Assessment preferable
* Previous experience of working within a financial institution
* Analytical and methodical approach to demanding Risk challenges
