Legal Services Centre: Allen & Overy's Legal Services Centre (LSC) plays an increasing role in delivering important elements of major litigation cases and transactions, as well as in co-ordinating teams of lawyers from around the world. The LSC is a key part of A&O's advanced delivery of legal services to its clients, making intelligent use of technology and complementing the traditional law services provided by A&O throughout the world. Legal Professional: The LSC focuses on providing high quality legal support to our global offices. The Legal Professional responsibilities include litigation and document review, due diligence exercises and legal research projects across multiple jurisdictions all under the guidance and support of the LSC associates. Legal Professionals receive an extremely comprehensive training programme designed to compliment your law degree. In addition to covering the sort of commercial legal skills that are so important at a leading global organisation such as Allen & Overy, Legal Professionals will also spend time at the beginning of their employment in our London office meeting colleagues, learning how we work and experiencing our culture at first hand. We have an extensive ongoing training programme covering legal, process and supervisory skills, as well as personal development. Desirable criteria: to have or be heading for 2:1 in an undergraduate law degree or a postgraduate qualification in law AAB at A-Level (or ABB in sciences) or equivalent OR currently a junior lawyer with up to 3 years' experience a professional manner with high levels of commercial awareness and critical thinking.
