Salary: £26,500 (Recruitment Rate) £28,000 (Confirmed Rate)

Permanent – 35 hours per week

Housingrecruit.com is advertising for two Income Management Specialists on behalf of our client, one of the largest registered provider of social housing, based solely in the North West of England.

In April 2017, they brought the Group together under the Onward brand to signal their intention to increase their impact and to make a greater contribution to the communities and customers they serve.  They are delivering a major transformation change programme, in the way in which they deliver services and how they are structured as a business.

As part of a continued focus on developing and shaping their customer services and supporting their wider leasehold strategy, they are looking for an Income Management Specialist to join their Operations team. 

Reporting to the Income Management Team Leader, you will be responsible for management of rent accounts and income collection to reduce rent arrears, achieving agreed targets for revenue collection including leasehold and supported accounts, embedding early intervention and the prevention of debt escalation as well as preparing casework and representing the Association at Court in legal proceedings.

There are 2 positions available, one is to be located in the Bolton area the second is flexible, within the Greater Manchester area.

To be successful you will have significant experience of managing rent accounts, preferably in the social housing sector; have good organisation skills and the ability to communicate effectively, with colleagues at all levels and customers, from a diverse background. You will be a confident user of IT systems, have a good understanding of key housing legislation, best practice; as well as current issues including Financial Inclusion and be familiar with Income Management Procedures and Law.
