Near to this fantastic area features one of the newest and largest reserves, Dee Estuary Burton Mere Wetlands which is home to Avocets in the summer months and in the winter, the rarest bird of prey in Britain the Hen Harrier. Other incredible reserves such as Marshside and Hesketh Out Marsh are on your doorstep with one of the flagship reserves of the north, Leighton Moss only a short drive away which boasts amazing views of rare Bitterns and spectacular Starling murmurations.

Nature is in big trouble, but our client has big plans to save it, can you help them?

From now until 2030, they will be focusing on some ambitious plans and targets - working together with the public and its partners to collectively change the fate of nature. The successful candidate will be an ambassador for the charity, and will enthuse and inspire members of the public to join the charity by telling them about the work that they are doing to save nature. 

The successful candidate will become part of the membership team. This role will involve working on their breathtaking nature reserves and across a wide variety of offsite venues/locations, enthusing, inspiring and recruiting new members. Full training and support will be given to the successful candidate and a valid driving license is essential.

Applicants should be comfortable in loading and unloading vehicles, happy to work weekends, bank holidays and when required work unsociable hours.
