An established NSI accredited Security company based in Congleton require a full time Security Engineer to expand our team. The role will be based in the Northwest Region.
Key Job Responsibilities
- Installation, service, corrective and preventative maintenance of intruder, CCTV and access control systems in accordance with the current standards.
- Fault finding and small works as required.
- Demonstrate systems for customers and explain details such as the causes and consequences of false alarm.
- Any other reasonable requests from management.
- To actively support the company policy and best practice around security, with emphasis on the protection of sensitive customer information.
Requirements for the job
- Must be able to work under own initiative but be part of team.
- A proven background with a minimum of 2 year’s experience of working within the industry.
- Ability to demonstrate a working knowledge of various intruder panels, e.g. Paxton, Net2, Texecom.
- Network/IP based product experience advantageous.
- Effective communication skills.
- Full driving licence.
- Electrical qualification would be advantageous.
- CSCS card required as site work will be part of the role
- IPAF licence would be an advantage.
Hours are Monday - Friday 8.30 a.m. - 5.00 p.m. (+ occasional overtime may be required)
Salary - negotiable depending on experience (min £19,500 / max £28,500)
