LOCATION: Wiltshire / Oxfordshire

JOB TITLE: Gas engineer

SALARY & BENEFITS: GBP34,000 - GBP35,000 Depending on Experience and Qualifications

WORKING HOURS: 7:30am - 17:00pm

THE COMPANY: We are currently working with a Building Services company who have 2 offices based in Buckinghamshire and Wiltshire. They offer a comprehensive, quality Mechanical Services package to the industrial pipework and building services sectors, including HVAC, fabrication and maintenance services. They are now looking to employ a Gas Engineer on a Full time basis within the Swindon / Wiltshire area.

THE ROLE: As a Gas Engineer your job will include, but not be limited to the following;
• Installing boilers
• Boiler breakdowns
• Fault finding
• Basic Plumbing work

THE CANDIDATE: The successful candidate will need to be motivated and capable of working on your own. You will provide excellent customer service, complete organisation and be reliable with excellent time keeping skills. You will also need to be flexible and adapt to emergency call outs. It is also highly advantageous for you to hole an OFTECH qualification.

Key experience essential for the role of the gas engineer:-

• Full UK Driving Licence - preferably clean
• Gas Registered
• NVQ2 and NVQ3 in plumbing and heating
• CCN1 - Core Domestic Gas Safety (NG)
• CPA1 - Combustion Performance Analysis NG & LPG
• CIGA1 - Commercial Indirect Fired Gas Heating Appliances
• CODNCO1 - Changeover Core Domestic to Core Commercial (NG)
• CENWAT - Install, exchange, commission, disconnect, service, repair and breakdown of domestic gas fired central heating & hot water boilers and circulators, combination boilers storage water heaters and instantaneous water heaters.
• Live within a commutable distance to Wiltshire / Oxfordshire
