What's the job? Central Billing is the collection and payment function between member unions and listed suppliers of the purchasing consortium. As a Central Billing Assistant, you will process day to day central billing transactions in order to support the accurate and smooth operations within the Central Billing function. You will assist with the collection, correction and maintenance of data used by the Central Billing and Trading support functions of the organisation. You will provide additional support of data processing for the Trading Support team. The key responsibility of the role is to review and process the documents submitted in to Central Billing for the production of the monthly statements to the members and to deal directly with the suppliers over any discrepancies on the invoices. While the role is based around processing invoices and credit note this is not a finance role.
