The Area Sales Manager role:
A vacancy has arisen for an Area Sales Manager covering the Midlands Area and working out of one of our Midlands centres, Nottingham or Birmingham. Reporting to the General Manager, our Area Sales Manager will be primarily responsible for achieving agreed centre sales budgets and objectives. They will have an active involvement in HPC’s continued growth programme, market penetration and customer satisfaction. They are responsible for building and maintaining current and prospective customer relationships.
Our ideal Area Sales Manager will have:
Experience in the sale of industrial air compressors would be an advantage however we will consider applications from candidates with transferable skills and relevant experience. The job will involve a significant amount of travelling. Other ideal attributes include:
- Experience selling industrial equipment or a similar technical product.
- An understanding of how to develop new and existing customers.
- The ability to understand the technical complexities of the company’s products and clearly explain their benefits.
- The ability to find and sell products spares and service contracts to new and existing clients.
- Energy and enthusiasm to go out and develop new business, building relationships with companies and driving growth.
