SNR HR Officer/ Perm/Full time/ Multi-site between Peterborough & Cambridge/ 35K
Ashley Kate HR are delighted to be partnering a leading FMCG organisation who are looking for a SNR HR Officer on a permanent, full time basis to support across 2 sites. This is very much a stand-alone role, however, you will have a HR Administrator who will report into you and additional support from their sister company. As well as being a generalist, you will also be responsible for ER casework, recruitment, training, projects and policies & procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
??Providing training, coaching and support to line managers on HR policies and procedures and legal requirements, ensuring fairness and consistency.
??Deliver effective recruitment, selection and retention solutions, all within HR best practice and legislative guidelines. Train interview panels for occasions when HR are not present on a panel so as to ensure legality and consistency.
??Manage the employee administration, management and maintenance of up to date and accurate employee records on Bond Personnel/ HR databases and in manual files in order to be able to produce timely and accurate management reports and information.
??Complete/Manage weekly and monthly HR reports and KPIs and any other ad hoc reports required.
??Monitor and assist managers in the application of the company's attendance management policy liaising with Occupational Health where applicable including Long Term Sick.
??Provide a day to day interface with employee representatives, ensuring a positive relationship at all times.
??Ensure the site's employee's performance is regularly reviewed and personal development promoted by facilitating the IPR process on site and monitoring against Training and Development Strategy.
??Manage the maintenance of up to date job descriptions for all positions as a platform for effective recruitment and IPR performance reviews.
??Monitor and support the employee relations climate on site.
??To be discrete at all times, respecting the confidential nature of the HR role.
??To understand, report and identify trends in HR KPIs.
??Manage and co-ordinate ethical trading audit and to support other functions during BRC in order to achieve the highest result possible. Responsible for Sedex updating and maintenance of system.
??To carry out project work in line with the business needs.
??To work in a manner that actively seeks to reduce any negative environmental impact in relation to the processes and procedures operating within their area and across the wider business e.g. reduction of waste, recycling etc.
??To Identify and display a positive attitude towards change and continuous improvement within your area of responsibility. Assist others in the implementation of change and provide feedback for improvement for the processes in which you are involved.
