CBM UK was founded in 1996 in order to build a support base in the UK and to raise funds and profile for the federation's work around the world. Today CBM UK is much more than that, increasing the capacity of the CBM federation to have an impact through programmatic expertise, advocacy and campaigning, and networking with actors in the charitable, private and public sectors. CBM UK has a portfolio of projects in 18 low and middle income countries supporting 29 life-changing projects, with a growing supporter base of over 100,000 people and organisations, and an increasing number of statutory funders who helped us to raise GBP6 million last year. Purpose of Role: To provide the CEO and Leadership Team (LT) with a confidential, effective and efficient support service. The post is open to applicants looking for both an executive administration role or those wishing to advance their knowledge and career within the development sector. Whilst operating under the direction of the CEO and in a consultative manner with the Leadership Team (LT), this role requires minimal supervision. This is a multi-faceted role with opportunities to work across many layers within the organisation, and a collegial approach is expected, with the ability to understand and pre-empt the CEO's needs. Provide support to the CEO for the management of diary, correspondence, enquiry and approvals, preparing expense reports, proof reading and transcribing notes Support CEO email management as agreed Implement and review systems to enable the CEO and the LT tofunction smoothly and efficiently Manage CEO and LT communications to staff as required, with some delegation as appropriate and agreed Provide support to members of the LT for the management of diary, email, correspondence, enquiry and approvals, preparing expense reports, proof reading and transcribing notes, as agreed individually In support of the CEO, manage all LT meeting agendas, ensuring supporting papers, presentations and minutes of high quality Proactively follow up needs for update, action, approval and further reporting with LT between meetings Prepare meeting spaces and catering as required In support of the CEO, proactively manage and collate quarterly reports to the Board Strategic document management, research and strategic project management for CEO and LT as required Ensure due diligence compliance, updating and supporting the development of documentation where necessary Support the review of Policies and any relevant operational procedures, alongside LT Support a culture of professionalism and collaboration across all staff in the organisation, and particularly those providing support roles Manage agreed internal communications and messaging, delegating as required to ensure quality updating processes Manage travel co-ordination requirements for the Leadership Team Participate in working groups as required Flexible and willing to take part in other activities that may be reasonably requested For full details, please visit the CBM UK website and download a recruitment pack, which includes how to apply.
