Fixed term (12 months) Full time- 35 hs a week The Prince's Trust is a youth charity that helps change young lives. We give practical and financial support, developing key workplace skills, such as confidence and motivation. We work with 11 to 30-year-olds who have struggled at school, have been in care, are long-term unemployed or have been in trouble with the law. We have helped more than 825,000 young people since 1976 and support 100 more each working day. More than three in four young people we helped last year moved into work, education or training. As the Operations Support Co-ordinator in our Pennine Lancashire Centre you will be responsible for a wide range of duties including the maintenance of the office facilities and a variety of administration tasks. You will make sure that the office is a safe and pleasant environment to work in by ensuring that Health and Safety requirements are met. You will use bespoke computer systems to input and maintain records accurately with good attention to detail. As the Operations Support Team are responsible for providing a professional and welcoming reception for visitors to the office both in person and via the telephone, you must have excellent communication and listening skills as well as outstanding people skills. With a good understanding of the challenges young people within the Trust's target groups face you will work with our teams to deliver a first class experience. Good organisational skills and the ability to plan and prioritise workloads is essential in this role as is the ability to multi-task. The ideal candidate will be skilled in Microsoft Office packages and have excellent data entry skills. Knowledge of facility management would be desirable.
