My client are a multi award winning company who specialise within the insurance sector, specifically employee benefits. they really support and nurture their staff and this is a great company to work for. They have a rare opening for an office based Account Manager and are ideally looking for a candidate with any type of insurance background. The work is predominantly telephone based but there will be opportunities for face to face meetings on the rare occassion. The role would suit someone who has a background in insurance in a supporting role and looking to take their next step.
You will require good report writing skills and a strong command of the english language. They are seeking a candidate with the ability to develop relationships with existing clients and spot new business and cross selling opportunities.
You will be providing a full and complete advisory service to allocated groups for renewals and throughout the year, and you will be expected to expand and develop the existing portfolio.
The correct candidate will have a full UK drivers Licence.
This role is looking after a book of retained customers, and the client are looking for candidates with the ability to cross sell and identify new business opportunities within that book. You must be able to demonstrate the following:
Good Report writing (a good command of English is very important for this role as all reports are written from scratch not templates)
Ability to identify cross sales and new business opportunities
Proven ability to develop relationships with customers
