Associate, Finance & Projects

THE ROLE With a strong Scottish, City and regional presence, our Projects team is one of the UK's leading national practices. We act for the private and public sector clients, funders, and consortia, across a range of sectors including social infrastructure projects, transport and waste, in the UK and Internationally. We understand the commercial, strategic, technical, geographical and political factors that shape and impact our clients, and our market leading presence allows us first-hand access to contacts, sponsors and key decision makers worldwide. We are currently working on a number of exciting pathfinders in the industry. We are now looking to recruit a bright and ambitious Associate to join our high profile team in Edinburgh. The position offers an excellent opportunity for development and progression within a supportive environment. MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Working as part of a team, candidates will enjoy a very broad range of work, including: UK Public Private Partnerships, acting for private and public sector clients, funders and consortia. As well as advising on the procurement and negotiation of projects, our work frequently sees us providing advice and support to our clients post-close during the construction and operational phases; Transport Projects; Public Procurement; and International Infrastructure Projects. SKILLS AND ATTRIBUTES We do not set upper or lower limits of PQE for any of our vacancies. We have however given an indicative PQE as an approximate guide for applicants. Candidates who have between 1 to 3 years PQE, are likely to have the right level of knowledge and have gained the right level of experience needed to be able to undertake this role. However, we will consider NQ candidates with strong Projects experience in their traineeship.
