Opportunity to join Global logistics business in Daventry, Northamptonshire. The role now available is European Transport Planning Manager, this is a full time permanent position working Monday - Friday office hours with flexibility.
In this role, you will be overseeing the European Planning department who are responsible for ensuring all customer requirements are met inline with SLA's and KPI's.

Description
The European Transport Planning Manager will be responsible for:
- Manage a team of Supply Chain Coordinators, handling all escalations and issues
- Provide feedback and guidance to ensure the team are working inline with their chosen career paths
- Monitor current processes and make recommendations for improvements
- Direct contact with key stakeholders providing data analysis looking at trends and offering recommendations for cost and process improvements
Profile
The successful candidate will be an experienced manager who leads from the front with a hands on approach. Ideally you will be an experienced planner particularly with European experience.
You will be excellent at building relationships internally and externally and confident client facing.
You must have exceptional communication skills, always demonstrating best practice.
On top of this you will be required to have sound IT skills including experience utilising Microsoft Excel and analysing data.
