Rail - Electrical Design Engineer - Leicester

I am urgently seeking an Electrical Design Engineer with experience in Rail, to join the Leicester office of an award winning, independent consultancy with an excellent global reputation.

You will become part of the design team and manufacture high quality electrical control panels for the rail industry.

Requirements are-

• Minimum HNC within the Electrical Industry
• Knowledge of testing methods, procedures and test equipment
• AutoCAD (LT 2000)
• Knowledge of Mitsubishi, Edict and Moeller (PLC) Software packages

Responsibilities will be-

• Produce designs for electrical control panels and switchboards
• Procurement, project management, selection of components and testing
• Modification of existing designs to meet the criteria of new products

As well as being highly technical, you will also work well within a team and by yourself without the need of much guidance and supervision.
