Assistant Drainage Engineer- Brighton **Bonus Scheme**

My client, a specialist UK based Environmental Consultancy which specialises in Flood Risk, Hydraulic Modelling and Drainage, is searching for an Assistant Drainage Engineer to join a supportive Team based in Brighton.

It is essential that applicants have a strong academic background in a relevant discipline (including a HNC, FdSc, BSc and/or MSc in Civil Engineering, Coastal or Environmental Engineering) and experience working for a UK based Consultancy or Local Authority completing and/or reviewing Flood Risk Assessments, Drainage Strategy and Drainage Design.

Applicants are also required to be outgoing individuals who have confidence to frequently speak to Clients.

It is also beneficial for applicants to reside locally.

This exciting opportunity will offer candidates the chance to join a fast paced Consultancy based in the heart of Brighton. As an Assistant Engineer you will have the opportunity to join a bespoke team of specialists to complete Flood Risk, Surface Water, Drainage and Modelling Projects for Private Sector Clients, Private Developers, Insurance Companies and Local Authorities.

You will also be supported to complete Flood Risk Assessments, Flood Risk Reports, Surface Water Management Plans, Flood Risk Maps using ArcGIS, Hydraulic Modelling using Tuflow and Flood Modeller Pro, Environmental Impact Assessments, Drainage Strategy and Design using AutoCAD and Microdrainage.
