Patient Care Coordinator

£10 per hour/£19,500 salary

Working Hours: 8.30 – 5pm with an hour for lunch

One late evening per week 12-8pm + one Saturday every other month

Our client is a doctor-led clinic of quality care and professionalism, specialising in the combination of medical aesthetic treatments and anti-ageing medicines.

Due to continued growth the clinic is now looking to expand their existing team and require an experienced Patient Care Coordinator.Reporting directly to the operations/facilities manager you will be responsible for all patient service and communication, both face to face and over the telephone. You will be responsible for caring for patients throughout their treatment journey ensuring they receive five-star service throughout. This role would ideally suit an individual who has experience of working within an aesthetic clinic or who has been working within a beauty therapy role.

The role will include, but is not limited to:-

·Care of patients in reception and waiting area before and after treatment

·Care of patients waiting in treatment rooms, when requested

·Answering phone calls and emails

·Patient appointment scheduling

·Daily diary management for AH practitioners

·Preparation and filing of patient notes

·Taking patient photographs, uploading and creating montages

·Opening and closing clinic (according to rota)

·Housekeeping in reception, waiting areas and WC’s

·Performing administrative tasks including letters, clinic printed matter, patient surveys and new patient packs

·Cashing up at end of day

·Follow up patient calls

·Preparing patients for treatment with local anaesthetic cream

Essential Skills and Experience:-

·Outstanding listening skills and ability to empathize with patients’ needs and concerns

·Appropriate sense of discretion in dealing with varied and difficult situations

·Ability to convey a positive attitude in all dealings with others, whether patients or staff members

·Ability to work as a team member

·Treats patients and co-workers with respect

·Ability to effectively triage calls from patients to ensure appropriate action/scheduling

·Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously

·Excels under pressure

·Highly motivated

·Exceptional personal organizational skills

·IT skills

·Attentive to detail

·Good problem solving skills.
