We're currently working with a well respected Bradford based engineering company, who are looking for a Purchasing Administrator to join the team for a 12 month fixed term contract.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled administrator with a background within sales administration or buyers administration to join an award winning company.

Within the role the main purpose will be to secure the quality and timely delivery of components. This will be achieved by maintaining regular contact with suppliers to ensure that all goods are being despatched on time. You will also ensure that delivery dates are maintained on the system, keeping track of deadlines to ensure all orders are chased up. Another aspect of the role will be aiding with the administration of the wider purchasing team, ensuring pricing information, supplier contracts and other databases are maintained and accurate.

Our client are looking for an extremely organised candidate who can prioritise and maintain their own workload in a busy manufacturing environment. You'll need a confident telephone manner as well a sound working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
Ideally you will have experience liaising with third parties and suppliers.

In return you'll receive a salary of £17,800 (pro rata) and free onsite parking.

This opportunity is a contract for 12 months, it could be extended for the right person.
