Assistant HR Adviser
Northamptonshire Police

6 Month Temporary role
Pay: £13/h

This role is working with Northamptonshire Police, in Wootton, Northampton.
Examples of work performed in this role will include, but not be restricted to:
- To act as the initial point of contact and provide best practice advice, guidance and coaching to Managers and Staff on all HR issues. Including; Employment Law, Police Regulations, Force Policies and procedures, Performance and Attendance Management, Learning and Development, Management Information and Workforce Planning.
- To support the HR Adviser with change programmes and maintaining control of the redeployment procedure, process and liaison with the MFSS.
- To co-ordinate HR processes relating to, by way of example, Capability, UPP, Regulation 13, Medical Interventions, Death notifications, Redeployment and Fixed term contracts.
- To report to the Workforce and Succession Planning Manager and carry out the auditing and cleansing of data, including the monitoring of working time directive matters for Police Officers and the maintenance of establishment and strength forecasting documents and other predictive workforce dynamics.
- To represent HR at Management meetings and other related forums.
