Engineer in Residence
For September 2018, Cheltenham College will appoint an Engineer in Residence for an initial period of one year. This is a new and exciting post which would suit a recent graduate of Engineering, Physics, Mathematics or a related STEM discipline. The successful applicant will be accommodated on site.
As well as possessing the ability to inspire and motivate pupils, the successful candidate will be passionate about Science and will be able to demonstrate an infectious love of various subject areas. The post holder will teach a reduced timetable in one or more of the Physics, Chemistry, Maths and Computer Science departments along with contributing to the running, organisation, and creation of engaging STEM projects beyond the confines of the curriculum; developing and embedding knowledge and skills which will be beneficial to our pupils’ learning for the future.
