Graduate People and Talent Assistant
Manchester
Salary c£21,500 per annum
Permanent, 35 hours per week (Monday to Friday)

Mosscare St Vincent’s is a new, dynamic Housing Association formed by the merger of the two strong and resilient housing providers who have a shared history in providing excellent quality services to our customers.  Working across the North West and Greater Manchester we aim to remain true to our mission, values and vision and to making a difference in the communities we serve and wider neighbourhoods.

Our Graduate Programme is just beginning and we are very excited to offer our first opportunity to a Human Resource Graduate to join our People & Talent team.

It’s a diverse and expansive remit, covering everything from selection and recruitment through to employee relations. Whether your interest is in general HR or in specialising within a centre of expertise, we’ll give you the opportunity to engage with different disciplines to further your career development.

Reporting to the Group People and Talent Manager, you will have challenge and responsibility from the outset supporting an efficient Human Resources and Learning and Development service across the Group to deliver a range of employee focussed solutions.

Working closely with the People Business Partner, you will support the provision of a dedicated HR advisory service in relation to absence and wellbeing issues, recruitment, organisational change and a range of other employee relations matters.  You will also provide support to the team members including the Head of People and Culture and Business Partners across the full range of HR and L&D work.

With a degree in a relevant subject area and a keen interest in a career in HR, you will be a team player, who is friendly and approachable with a customer focussed attitude, able to work in a collaborative environment at all levels, with the ability to prioritise and work under pressure.  You will also have excellent communication skills, be able to work independently and as part of a team and have a proactive and positive approach to working life.  Some prior office and administrative experience is required along with the ability to deal with issues with tact and sensitivity.

In return, you will initially complete a structured 2-year programme where you can apply and develop your academic qualifications in a practical, real world setting, with a mix of on the job training and development to support you at every stage.  We will also support you in achieving CIPD Level 5 Diploma in Human Resources.

This is a permanent post and hours of work are 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday.

In addition to a competitive salary you will have access to a company pension scheme, life assurance, employee assistance programme, flexi time and 25 days holiday plus bank holidays.

Closing date: 9:00am, Tuesday 20th March 2018

Interviews: Tuesday 27th March 2018
